I spent a week training at Bristol Russian Ballet School this Summer. I love training with Chika and Yury as I receive intensive coaching and lots of opportunity to work on my performance. The week was crucial in helping me plan and prepare for the video I am doing for my auditions next year which I also wrote about here.
Whilst I was in Bristol, I also attended Bristol Russian Youth Ballet which was fun! I rehearsed three of my solo variations with them and also showed them some of my Russian-style stretch exercises which was great preparation for my masterclasses at the end of July. I also spent quite a bit of time with Yury rehearsing duet.
My friend Alex, who graduated from the Academy this year, also travelled down to rehearse and film the Paquita pas de deux with me. Below is a pic of Alex and me in rehearsal and a video clip of one of the sections of the pas de deux.

If you would like advice on your training, I wrote about things to consider in your everyday ballet training regime here.
Wonderful video Tala – looking forward to seeing more of them!
